‘A jaw-dropping masterpiece.’ The Telegraph

Experience the breath-taking global phenomenon that has captivated audiences around the world!

Oppenheimer tells the story of American scientist, J. Robert Oppenheimer from his university days to WW2, when he worked on the top secret Manhattan project – ultimately developing and designing the world’s first atomic bomb.

Brilliantly portrayed by Cillian Murphy, we follow a man captivated by the boundless possibilities of science, only realising too late that his creation has a limitless capacity for destruction. A realisation that plays out, inexorably, in Oppenheimer’s hollow, haunted face as the film unfolds.

Supported by an all -star cast including: Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jnr. and Florence Pugh- this is an intelligent film about a difficult subject. It highlights the appetite for annihilation which his work unleashes in mankind. Intense, and inventively filmed, the horrors of war are not shown, but conveyed inescapably through its’ magnificent soundtrack. Ludwig Göransson’s score is masterful and mercurial, surely one of the finest of the year.

Hailed as an unprecedented cinematic event, not to be missed. (3 hours)
