‘A humorous, feel good, underdog story!’

Directed by Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit, Thor: Ragnarok), NEXT GOAL WINS follows the infamously terrible American Samoa soccer team, who suffered the worst loss in World Cup history, losing to Australia 31-0 in 2001!

With the World Cup Qualifiers approaching, the team hires down-on-his-luck, maverick coach Thomas Rongen (Michael Fassbender) to help turn their fate around. Can he do the impossible and work a miracle in this heartfelt underdog comedy?

Next Goal Wins is a winning crowd pleaser that, like its loveable cast of characters, isn’t the best at what it does but makes sure to have a good time doing it! Michael Fassbender proves he’s a really talented comedic actor purely because he plays everything completely straight, which works wonders for all the humour. Can he really achieve the unthinkable??

‘We haven’t scored one goal in the history of our country trying to have a soccer team!’ (1hr 44mins)

0ur next film: Friday 10th May 7:30 pm The End We Start From (15)
A tense thriller starring Jodie Comer and Benedict Cumberbatch.
