From the makers of Bridget Jones’s Diary comes this big-hearted comedy.
How do you find lasting love in today’s world? Two childhood friends take opposing views on relationships in this crowd pleasing rom-com.
Lily James stars as Zoe, an award winning documentary film maker. A dating app addict, she has failed to find Mr Right, much to her mother’s dismay- played by the indomitable Emma Thompson.
However Zoe’s childhood friend and neighbour Kaz (Shazad Latif), is taking a more traditional approach and has agreed to an arranged marriage, in line with his family’s Pakistani heritage.
As Zoe films his hopeful journey from London to Lahore to marry a stranger chosen by his parents, she begins to challenge her own attitude to relationships. She wonders if she might have something to learn from a profoundly different approach to finding love. (1hr 48mins)
